The emergency drill on December 4 was scaled back from the original plan but gave the Esplanade Emergency Response Team (ERT) a chance to practice our plan and it was the first time we had residents gather at our evacuation meeting point. Approximately 45 residents evacuated from 32 units including the ERT.
Chris Brink of Tacoma Fire said they appreciated the opportunity and hoped that residents were not too inconvenienced. He thought the drill went well and he was impressed with our ERT, everything was well organized.
The drill did reveal some issues that have been added to the Safety Inspection.
