News and notes for this week

A few items of news and note for this week:

• On Tuesday, 8/11 a representative from Comcast will be in the Esplanade lobby from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The representative will be able to answer questions, look up your account, and change plans if eligible. Refreshments provided as well.

• The monthly HOA board meeting will be held on Thursday, 8/13 at 6:00 p.m. in the community room. There will be committee reports, budget updates, and time for resident questions. To see an unofficial summary of the last two board meetings click HERE and HERE.

• The Esplanade News Blog editor will be out of town this week and will not be able to provide the usual summary for Thursday's HOA board meeting. If there is any resident who would be willing to attend the meeting and type up a summary for publication, please email the editor at djhardebeck@gmail.com.

• Friday, 8/14 at 7 p.m. will be the first preseason Seahawks game. All residents are welcome to watch games in the community room - bring food or drink to share and wear your Seahawks gear.
