The holidays are in full swing, and some residents have asked if there is anything they can do as a special holiday treat for our building manager, Karen, and/or our maintenance lady, Nellie. A couple things to bear in mind: Perishable homemade treats are certainly nice up to a point, but be aware that an over-abundance of those might unfortunately go to waste. Non-perishable treats, gift cards, or cash tips might be good alternatives. You might also be aware that Nellie is a single mom with three daughters, and Karen is a proud grandma. Anyone who would like to contribute to a Christmas monetary gift pool, please contact Lynn Dutton in #701 or call her at 816-289-9576.
