KIRO airs short video on development in downtown Tacoma

One more sign of growth in downtown Tacoma: KIRO TV yesterday showed some nice concept drawings of a proposed development near UWT. Click HERE to see their report.

Combined with several other proposals, including THIS ONE on the Foss Waterway, it could mean that the "tipping point" for downtown is finally in sight, and the next few years will see many more such revitalizing projects. While some residents may take a "wait and see" approach, the news of this development is certainly good. We might even have a grocery store downtown once again.
