Making a difference with "Toys for Tots"
Through December 10, Esplanade residents have the opportunity to brighten the holidays for Pierce County children by donating new, unwrapped toys to the "Toys for Tots" program. According to the Toys for Tots website, the program is co-coordinated by the Marine Corps League and The Pierce County Sheriff's Department. Their goal is to distribute in excess of 47,000 toys this holiday season to needy kids throughout Pierce County. Donation bins are located in The Esplanade lobby.
