Events in the building this week - UPDATED

There are several events happening at The Esplanade in the next few days. As you can see, Thursday will be a busy day around here! Here is the latest information; we will make updates to this blog post if new information becomes available:

Monday - Wednesday, Dec. 1-3 - Fire department walk-throughs. There will be emergency vehicles and personnel in and around the building, familiarizing themselves in case of emergency. Residents do not need to do anything except take care entering or leaving the garage. More information HERE.

Wednesday, Dec. 3, 6:00 p.m. - Building Committee meeting. The Building Committee is looking for a few new members to help advise the HOA board on all sorts of building-related matters. See more information HERE.

Thursday, Dec. 4, 4:00 p.m. - Building evacuation drill. Residents who are in the building at the time the alarm is activated are requested to evacuate the building using the nearest stairwell, and then proceed to our meeting point under the 15th Street ramp in the parking lot, next to Johnny’s. Please dress for the weather. More information HERE.

Thursday, Dec. 4, 7:30 p.m. - Tree trimming party. Residents are invited to come and share some holiday cheer with your neighbors. Dessert will be provided; bring your own beverage and glass. Residents may bring an ornament to put on the community tree.

Thursday, Dec. 4, 4:30 p.m. - Book Club. The book for discussion this month is All the Light We Cannot See, by Anthony Doerr, although it is not necessary that you've read the book to attend. Wine and snacks are also on the agenda - feel free to bring some to share if you'd like.
