Events in the building this week (updated)

There are several events happening at The Esplanade in the next several days. Here is the latest information; I will make updates to this blog post if new information becomes available:

Tuesday, Dec. 9, 6:30 p.m. - Safety Committee meeting.

Thursday, Dec. 11, 4:30 p.m. - Book Club. The book for discussion this month is All the Light We Cannot See, by Anthony Doerr. Do come whether you've completed the book or not. Wine and snacks are also on the agenda; feel free to bring something to share if you like.

Thursday, Dec. 11, 6:00 p.m. - HOA General Meeting. An agenda for the meeting will be posted on this blog when available, but chief on the agenda is the ratification of the 2015 building budget. For a copy of the proposed budget (not the final 2015 budget) click HERE.

Saturday, Dec. 13, 8:00 a.m. - Dock Street partially closed for Santa Run. Residents on the city side of The Esplanade will be treated to a front-row seat for the 5K, 10K and half marathon runs on Saturday morning. Runners will pass The Esplanade from south to north, and would probably appreciate cheers from residents who have balconies overlooking Dock Street. Expect to be delayed if you are driving your car out of the garage between 8:00 and noon; in past years cars have only been allowed to make left turns out of the garage, and only when there are breaks between runners.
