News and notes for this week

Just a few items of news and note this week:
  • Some new items have been purchased and placed in the fitness room, including exercise mats, lower-weight dumbbells, step platforms and more. Authorization for this purchase was given by the board some weeks ago, and it arrived in the last few days. See photo below.

  • Condominium Management has hired a new property manager to replace Claire Scott. The Esplanade News contact page has been updated to reflect that the property manager is now Matt Brown, and his contact information is available on that page.
  • Looks like we will soon have neighbors moving in to The Henry Apartments at the south end of the esplanade. If you are interested in knowing more, you can check out their website HERE. Perhaps most notably, the pictures on the website show a very nice waterfall and fountain to be built on the esplanade side of the building.
  • Speaking of waterfalls (sorry Karen), the water in our building is scheduled to be shut off at times on Tuesday, August 4 to facilitate repairs to pumps on the second and sixth floors. Water may be intermittent from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on that day. Building manager Karen Degraw sent an email notification this morning concerning the water shutoff; if you did not receive the email, you may want to contact Karen to make sure you are on her email distribution list.
