Give your input on two new Foss Waterway parks!

Metro Parks and the Foss Waterway Development Authority are developing plans for Foss Waterway Park and Central Park, and the public is invited to participate in a meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, at Metro Parks headquarters. Click the image below for more information.
Foss Central Park will be located just north of The Esplanade, past the Fish Peddler and the two parking lots. Waterway park will encompass all the land from the corner of Dock Street and D Street, all the way to the 509 Bridge - the area currently occupied by the scaffolding company. Esplanade residents clearly have an interest in the development and design of these two parks, and are encouraged to give input. To see the Metro Parks' slideshow on current design ideas, click HERE. (Sharp-eyed readers will spot some of our favorite Esplanade residents out for a walk in one of the slides.) More information can be found on the Metro Parks website, HERE.
