News and notes for this week

A few items of news and note for this week:

• The public input meeting for two new Foss Waterway parks is tomorrow, Tuesday, 12/15 at 6 p.m. at the Metro Parks Headquarters. Click the image below for more information.

• This Thursday (12/17) is the regular third-Thursday-of-the-month Tacoma Art Walk. The Museum of Glass, the Tacoma Art Museum, and the Washington State History Museum all have free admission in the evening.

• The Tacoma Yacht Club's annual lighted boat parade will travel down the Foss Waterway this Saturday evening (12/19). The parade is scheduled to leave the Yacht Club at 6:00 p.m., and should arrive at The Esplanade sometime near 6:45 or 7:00. Past years' parades have featured over 30 boats festively decorated for the season.
