"Esplanade News" hits 10,000 views!

As of February 1, 2016, your friendly neighborhood news blog, "The Esplanade News," received its ten-thousandth "hit," or page view. Since the first blog posts in mid-October of 2014 until today, there have been 196 entries or "posts" to the blog. Although the blog cannot track individual viewers, we do have some interesting composite statistics.

• There have been an average of 51 views per blog post, and an average of 645 views per month over the 13.5 months the blog has been running. That comes out to approximately 161 views per week.

• Obviously most of the views are from the USA, although there have been views from multiple other countries, including Canada, Mexico, Russia, Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.

• We have received a handful of email inquiries from several people who live outside our building, but in our immediate neighborhood. They seem to like the restaurant reviews.
