News and notes for this week

A few items of news and note for this week:

  • January HOA board meeting cancelled; elections in February
The regular HOA board meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 10 has been cancelled; the next meeting will be February 13 at 6:00 p.m. Please note that February 13 is a Wednesday, instead of the customary second Thursday of the month. This change was made to avoid a conflict with Valentine's Day.

Also note that the February 13 meeting will be another general meeting for all HOA members, and there will be elections of new board members. Any homeowner interested in serving on the HOA board should contact Property Manager Matt Brown at mbrown@condohoa.net.

  • Please vote on CC&R change
All homeowners recently were mailed a ballot, which would have arrived in an envelope from "Fullaway, Lamphear & Suave." This ballot is for homeowners to vote on language changes to the CC&Rs, which would allow vehicle traffic and short term parking in the "concrete circle." The last count of ballots was 73-9 in favor of changing the language in the CC&Rs. A two-thirds "Yes" vote of all units is needed to change the CC&Rs and open the circle. This vote will not determine any expenditures. The HOA board has already approved the funds for repairing the concrete - the vote will only determine whether or not the area will be open to vehicles.

  • Property taxes are here
A few weeks ago, HOA President Pete Cribbin emailed a document to all homeowners which estimated each unit's property taxes, which have gone into effect for 2019. Click HERE to see the document. Homeowners may need to contact their mortgage company if they wish to increase their monthly escrow payment.
