News updates and reminders for this coming week

A few news updates and reminders concerning events at The Esplanade this week:
  • Tomorrow (Jan. 5) from 8:00 a.m. to noon, there will be no hot water on floors 2-5. A leak in the second floor trash room is being repaired and the hot water must be shut off during the repair.
  • After several weeks of spotty performance, all three treadmills in the fitness room have now been serviced and repaired. All three machines have new belts and should be in good working order.
  • The Book Club will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7 in the community room. The book for discussion this month is Breakfast at Sally's, by Richard LeMieux. Do come whether you've completed the book or not. Wine and snacks are also on the agenda; feel free to bring something to share if you like.
  • The Building Committee will meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7 in the community room. All are welcome! This committee is looking for additional members! For a bit more information on this committee, click HERE. There has been some discussion of the board possibly merging its Building Committee, Fitness Room Committee, and Landscape Committee into one group, as these committees all have a similar focus.
  • An HOA board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 8, at 6:00 p.m. in the community room. Budget report, committee reports, etc. Resident questions taken at the end.
  • Within the next month or so "The Esplanade News" will begin offering space to anyone interested in running for open HOA board positions. "The Esplanade News" will offer a page where interested parties can submit a photo and a written statement giving more information about their interest in running for the board. Three current board positions will expire in March.
