  • Safety Committee meeting Tuesday - all invited
The Safety Committee will meet on Tuesday, 4/11 at 6:00 p.m. in either the community room or the game room. Please feel free to attend the meeting, especially if you are interested in joining the committee.

  • HOA meeting this Thursday - all invited

  • New "Downtown to Defiance Trolley" service to begin
A Pierce Transit pilot project connecting downtown Tacoma to Point Defiance Park is slated to begin on June 2, running through Sept. 3. Route 15 will feature special trolley buses that will run from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with a new trolley arriving every 30 minutes. Trolleys will run from downtown, along Ruston Way, to Point Defiance Park. Click HERE for more information.

  • Bike rack will be moving to a locked storage room
Building management is in the process of moving all bikes to a locked storage room in the NW corner of the lower garage. If you have a bike in the rack it needs to be tagged by April 15, so that Building Manager Karen DeGraw can tell if the bike has an owner, or if it has been abandoned. Tags are available in the manager's office. A day and time will be chosen when bike owners will need to come down and unlock their bikes so that the rack can be moved. If you own a bike and no longer want it, or if you are out of town and have a bike stored in the racks, please send Karen an email.

  • Cut the cord and stop paying for cable TV!
A year ago, Esplanade resident Charlie Wollitz eliminated his cable television service and started using only internet and over-the-air reception in the building. Charlie notes that now he gets better television content at a drastically lower price. After receiving requests from other residents on how to do this, Charlie has prepared some information to help others do the same - click HERE to read the directions.
